This overhead garage door storage system is installed above the garage door opening, making use of space that’s typically wasted. The photo above shows the actual system installed in my own garage, which I use daily to store seasonal items, totes, and equipment while keeping the floor clear and organized.

Installation is carefully measured, leveled, and securely mounted to ensure smooth garage door operation and long-term stability. This setup is ideal for homeowners looking to add storage without sacrificing parking space or accessibility.

Because the system is mounted above the door opening, stored items are not visible from the street when the garage door is open, keeping storage out of sight and maintaining a clean appearance.

All materials are supplied, including wood framing and steel mounting brackets. Wood framing is available in a natural finish as shown in the photo, or can be finished to match our standard garage color for a seamless look. A black finish is also available for a more modern appearance. Each installation also includes ten 27-gallon commercial-grade storage totes, as shown, providing a clean, uniform storage solution from day one.
